Dear Parents,
Thanks so much for the donations of paper towels, beads, paint and your time :) This has been a wonderful start to my first full year at Laurel Hill Primary. Mrs. Davis and I are currently working to rearrage a few of the furniture items in the classroom to better serve the children. We are re-doing the cubbies to be a little more separated and hopefully eaiser for the children to unpack/pack their belongings. We are also changing the reading center to offer more choices and easier access to many more books.
The Farm Breakfast information went home Friday. This year will be different from previous years since we have 15 children in the room, cooking may be more of a safety hazzard and it is requested that you send items in prepared and ready to serve. We will serve breakfast from 8:30-9:00am.
Just a reminder: Please send healthy snacks and natural fruit juices to school. A healthy snack list is available on the LHPS website. Please refer to page 8 of the student handbook for our food policy (handbook is available on the website).
